Vanessa Carrington, Projects & Communications Manager
Vanessa brings 27 years of experience working as a communications specialist, project manager, information designer, writer, and editor. With strong writing and communication skills, a practical approach, and experience working with communities and organizations of all sizes, she is known for producing clear, concise documents and communications that consistently reflect each client’s needs, goals, and capacity.
Her work includes developing community strategies, environmental and risk management plans, government policies, technical training guides, engagement plans, complex provincial and federal grant applications, winning proposals, and public communications tools.
Vanessa has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Design and a Graduate Certificate in Information Innovation. She is certified in Planning for Effective Public Participation (IAP2) and the Fundamentals of OCAP® (First Nations Data Sovereignty), and trained in group facilitation, strategic planning, and editing.
