Vanessa Carrington, Projects & Communications Manager
Vanessa has 25+ years of experience working as a strategic communications specialist, project manager, and technical writer. Her extensive writing and communication skills and pragmatic style, coupled with her highly adaptable skillset, have earned her a reputation for getting stuff done.
Vanessa has spent her entire career managing information, from writing multi-million-dollar marketing plans and policy documents to technical user guides, data analysis reports, and multi-year business strategies. She previously led Tourism Whistler’s marketing team before becoming Project Manager for Visa’s 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games program. She has since worked for several outdoor companies, government organizations, and technology start-ups.
Vanessa has a Bachelor of Information Management from Deakin University and a Graduate Certificate in Information Innovation from RMIT University.
